ct_dragDesigned to improve touch accuracy in the presence of external forces, Corrective Touch (CT) changes the input model, allowing users to steady their hand by making contact with the screen without inadvertently invoking gestures. CT overloads the input model, seemingly making gestures like swipe and flick impossible. To account for this, CT introduces dynamic thresholding, where gestures are activated once a threshold is crossed. The threshold is typically very small, but grows dynamically based on the presence of external forces on the device.
